The UK’s leading independent job board, CV-Library, is delighted to announce that it has chosen its charitable partner for the year as Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity.
The charity is committed to giving young homeless people a future and the partnership will see the CV-Library team commit to raising thousands of pounds for this important cause, through a number of fundraising activities.
CV-Library will provide the organisation with vital funds which will in turn aid Centrepoint and its partners in continuing to directly support over 10,000 young homeless people. Through this partnership, CV-Library hope to raise awareness for this wonderful charity in order to fulfil a common goal; providing young people with the opportunity to find a career and helping those in need.
John Salt, Managing Director of CV-Library, comments:
“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Centrepoint, an excellent charitable organisation with a vital goal. It was very important that we chose a charity partner that links to what we do as a business and Centrepoint was the perfect fit.
“We’ve already planned a number of fundraising activities for the year and hope that our efforts can make a real difference in getting these vulnerable young people off the streets and giving them a chance to forge a successful career.”
Established in 1969 out of a church basement in Soho, Centrepoint shares similarities with CV-Library as a small start-up organisation that has grown exponentially. Now operating over 60 services nationwide, the charity provides 1,271 bed spaces as well as health and wellbeing support and life skills.
Di Gornall, Director of Fundraising said:
“Centrepoint is absolutely delighted to be partnering with CV-Library this year. The partnership is off to a great start with CV-Library providing us with expertise to help solve some of the strategic challenges of supporting vulnerable young people into education and training.
“We are really excited to work together on creating bespoke fundraising opportunities to raise money for our vital services and look forward to CV-Library's fundraising and engagement opportunities having a life-changing impact on the lives of the young people we support.”
