- Campaign will focus on the fact that totaljobs provides more candidates for interview per job ad, on average, than any other UK job board
- OOH advertising across London, Manchester and Birmingham
- OOH to run alongside multi-million pound online traffic strategy
Totaljobs has today launched a £3.6 million out of home advertising campaign, alongside a multi-million pound online traffic strategy, called #TheElevatorPitch, which will address common pressures and stumbling blocks around the interview process.
‘The elevator pitch’ is a short description that a person might use to sell themselves to someone they’re speaking to, and is frequently used in job interviews.
The campaign will see totaljobs OOH advertising across three major UK cities; London, Manchester and Birmingham, focusing on the fact that totaljobs provides more candidates for interview per job ad on average than any other UK job board.*
Totaljobs has also reached out to over 6,000 jobseekers and 150 employers to learn more about what candidates believe are the biggest interview pressures, which will be revealed in April. Totaljobs will be partnering with a number of industry experts to offer advice to candidates on how these pressures and stumbling blocks can be overcome, as well as how employers can get the best out of interviewees.
John Salt, Group Sales Director, totaljobs said: “We are excited to be launching our next major advertising campaign. We are proud of the fact that, on average, we provide more candidates for interview per job ad than any other UK job board and what better way to exemplify this than by highlighting some of the common pressures that jobseekers face at this all-important interview stage.
“We know that for both employers and jobseekers, it’s important that candidates are treated as people, rather than just a name on a CV. That’s why we hope that our extensive research will help employers to understand what candidates are going through when they’re being interviewed. We’ll be offering plenty of advice for employers on how they can help to alleviate the pressure interviewees face, so that the candidate can put in the best interview performance possible.”
Further details of wider campaign activity will be revealed throughout the year and the latest developments can be found at www.totaljobs.com/get-you-noticed.
