A free delivery channel has opened up for employers who want to recruit talent outside their borders. CareerBuilder, the global leader in human capital solutions, and eQuest, the global leader in job-posting delivery and job board management services, have teamed up to offer a new distribution option for job postings that is easy on the recruitment budget. CareerBuilder customers who use eQuest are now able to post to CareerBuilder sites in 17 countries with no additional transaction charge.
In a May 2010 CareerBuilder survey of business leaders in the UK, one-in-four (25 per cent) hired someone from outside their country in the prior 12 months. More than half (55 per cent) had not, but would consider hiring someone from outside their country going forward. CareerBuilder surveys in other European markets showed similar results.
The agreement between CareerBuilder and eQuest comes at a time when global expansions and the growing demand for specialized skills have companies looking beyond their own backyard for talent, said Tony Roy, president of CareerBuilder EMEA. We continually look for ways for our clients to more efficiently and cost-effectively integrate with our international job sites. Clients who use eQuest can extend their reach without extending their wallet and build a broader talent pipeline in multiple markets.
As eQuest continues its expansion in Europe, the formation of these types of partnerships is an extension of our commitment to providing our customers around the world with low-cost job delivery services, said Sean Luitjens, VP of Worldwide Business Development at eQuest. We look forward to working with the CareerBuilder team and the addition of many new clients.
CareerBuilder has a vast distribution network that reaches across the globe. CareerBuilder clients who use eQuest can post to CareerBuilder sites in the U.K., France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Greece, Belgium, Norway, Romania, Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Canada and the Gulf area.
