New Tech Start Up Company Attracts Investment

Tec Partners was formed only eight months ago and has enjoyed exceptional growth since then. Based in Norwich, Cambridge and East Anglia, the company has attracted significant investment to assist with ambitious business plans, moving forward.

Launched in October 2015 by Paul Kitley, Chris Beech and Leigh Howard, the trio saw a gap in the market for a specialist recruitment consultancy to provide recruitment services for the Technology and Engineering sectors, placing skilled individuals into technical positions in the workplace and at all levels of seniority.

Working with companies of all sizes and across the Eastern region the three Directors have been surprised and pleased at the rate of growth in the first year of trading and with that are ahead on their forecast for business growth. The company have recently taken on two new employees with a further four planned in the next year.

The three Directors have over 22 years’ experience in recruitment consultancy and it was during this time they recognised a need for a specialist high-tech agency to work in partnership with clients, to attract qualified staff to help clients with their own growth plans. To date, Tec Partners have attracted many large corporates and others onto their books. Based locally they have ambitions to be part of the tech explosion which the region enjoys.

“We formed Tec Partners after identifying the shortage of true technical expertise provided by recruiters in the region, we felt our experience of the tech markets could definitely offer that. We have been extremely pleased with the reaction we’ve received from both our clients and candidates, with them frequently remarking how well placed we are to understand their needs, which can be complicated due to the specific nature of the tech industry” said Paul Kitley, Director and co-founder of Tec Partners.

The refreshing approach that the Tec Partners team have brought to the recruitment market has enabled them to establish the business very quickly and to move to larger offices as well as employ staff. Their entrepreneurial spirit caught the eye of Andrew Bailey, a successful businessman, mentor and investor in businesses. With Tec Partners’ ambitious plans to hit a turnover of over £1 million in the next year, taking on an investor with strategic digital experience, Andrew makes a perfect match. Andrew will also offer administration and back office support moving forward so the Tec Partners team can focus on growing the business.

“I am really excited about working with Tec Partners, a fast growth recruitment business with a bright future. Paul, Leigh & Chris have got off to a fantastic start and have a clear strategy to

become a market leader in the I.T. and Engineering sectors across the East of England. With my vast experience in business and more specifically recruitment, I will provide them with the platform, infrastructure and guidance to reach our goals” said Andrew Bailey.

“Having Andrew on board not only gives us the investment to continue to grow at a fast pace but he also brings with him years of experience in recruitment for the digital industry. An opportunity we just could not ignore” said Paul Kitley.

With Cambridge already established as a leading science and tech city, Tec Partners is well placed to continue the early day’s growth and to establish the business as a leading specialist recruitment consultancy.
