Demand for video interviews addressed by Access Recruitment through embedded functionality in its SaaS CRM
Access Recruitment, a division of The Access Group, a leading provider of business software solutions, has today launched video interview technology within its Recruitment CRM.
With a candidate crisis impacting most sectors in the UK, unemployment rates decreasing on the previous quarter to 4.5% and remote working set to stay, video interviews are becoming common practice as part of the hiring process. Adopted at scale during Covid induced lockdowns through necessity, the uptake of video platforms for personal and work life has reduced the anxiety about being in front of the camera. According to a 2019 survey of members of the Institute of Student Employers (ISE), which includes many big blue-chip companies, 47% of employers had already started using video interviews.
Paul Vogel, managing director, Access Recruitment, comments: “In the current market speed of hire is paramount to secure good candidates. Our video interview tool enables agencies to accelerate the placement process by providing their clients with video responses recorded by shortlisted candidates. This latest release of Access Recruitment CRM gives agencies video functionality at an affordable cost within their existing platform without the need to invest in another piece of kit or to build a relationship with another technology partner.”
Embedding video technology within the recruitment CRM was placed high on the product roadmap following market and customer insights about what solutions would help them deliver a better experience in the new hybrid world of work. Aside from shortening interview schedules from weeks to days, the tool can be used by consultants to create video content about open roles to send to potential candidates, as well as talking about their own specialism to send to clients.
Video interviews can also help provide a more equitable experience and open up the talent pool. Employers can more easily benchmark applicants, whilst candidates are able to record answers at a time that suits them to fit around childcare or other work commitments.
Access Recruitment CRM was further augmented earlier this year with the launch of Access WorkView, a mobile app that connects agencies with their workers in a way that helps both have better visibility of all information relating to their assignments. Other solutions that can be added to the suite include (Volcanic) recruitment websites, Access Screening, Access NorthStar performance and productivity analytics, as well as HR, financial and LMS software.
The video technology is available on an introductory offer to both new and existing customers of Access Recruitment CRM that sign up before 22nd December 2021.
