Monster, the worldwide leader in successfully connecting people to job opportunities and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW) today announced that Matt Anchin has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior Vice President,Global Communications, effective immediately. As Monster’s senior communications executive, Mr. Anchin will be responsible for managing corporate communications, business and consumer media relations and social media, reporting to Ted Gilvar, Chief Marketing Officer.

Most recently, Mr. Anchin served as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications for the media businesses of Nielsen, a global information and measurement company. Prior to that he was Vice President, Online Communications at American Express, where he managed the use of the Internet and emerging Social Media platforms to communicate with journalists, employees, shareholders and other important constituents.
Before American Express, Mr. Anchin was with IBM for eight years, holding a variety of global positions across corporate communications disciplines. These included leading media and industry analyst relations and serving as a company spokesperson, internal and executive communications and producing award winning annual reports.
