Executive coaching specialist, Talking Talent, has appointed Andrea Grossman as a new director. Andrea joined at the same time the company celebrated its fifth birthday, following a period of consistent growth.
In her new role, Andrea will work with Talking Talent’s clients, providing executive coaching, and helping them to attract, retain and progress talented women. Through this, she will work to create and optimise their employer brands, and help them develop their employee potential.
Andrea brings a wealth of diverse experience to the role. A qualified lawyer by background, she practised as a litigator with Clifford Chance and Olswang before spending several years in the legal recruitment industry. During this time, she worked closely with partners, assistants and HR professionals assisting with both recruitment and retention of professional staff. Her substantial involvement in the internal management of the organisation provided her with a strong commercial acumen and in-depth business focus, with global roles including Managing Director of the London office and head of the Australian operation in Sydney.
Andrea re-trained as an executive coach with Meyler Campbell in 2006, since which time she has focused on delivering career coaching for both individuals and teams. Andrea’s passion is helping people make the most of their unique talents and capabilities.
Commenting on the appointment, Chris Parke, co-founder and managing director of Talking Talent, said: “We are delighted to appoint Andrea as a Director to the business. Her appointment presents a real opportunity for us to build on the excellent work achieved so far, and her legal experience will also help to support our planned growth within that sector.”
Andrea Grossman added: “I am delighted to be appointed by Talking Talent, a company at the forefront of executive coaching and helping to support female talent in the workplace. I am looking forward to working with Talking Talent’s outstanding client base, including current and new clients in the legal market.
“It would be true to say that there are ongoing concerns around gender diversity at senior levels in the legal sector, but that situation is slowing changing, and we hope to play an integral role in these developments.”
