From today, Milkround will be offering job opportunities and careers advice for school and college leavers. Milkround Early Careers provides a new platform for recruiters looking to target the school and college leaver demographic with entry level jobs, apprenticeships, higher apprenticeships and school leaver programmes.
The graduate recruitment experts are excited to extend their commitment in developing career confidence to the 16-18 year old market who may be considering alternatives to university. General Manager, Jenni Joplin has commented: “Our aim is to ensure all school and college leavers are aware of the options available to them and they have the guidance needed to make educated career decisions suited to them.”
Milkround will host opportunities available to school leavers, partnering with some of the leading employers of young people across the country to provide these opportunities. As well as vacancies, Milkround have enhanced their website to include an Early Careers advice hub providing relevant information to help young people make those all important decisions about their future career.
School and college leavers can now access advice about everything from A Levels and higher education, to apprenticeships and straight-to-work schemes. There is a particular focus on areas that have been identified as problematic by employers, such as interview skills, employability and understanding the corporate workplace. There is also an area dedicated to helping parents understand the options available to their children once they leave school.
