The UK’s largest fitness and health network, Epassi UK, has today officially unveiled the launch of its new brand.

The company supports employers to build a healthier, happier workforce through employee benefits. It offers perks that promote personal fitness, physical health and wellbeing, while ensuring these are easily accessible via a simple technology platform.

At present, UK employees take an average of 9 sick days a year,* with the cost of employee sickness to businesses rising by £30 billion since 2018.** Faced with a clear health crisis, UK businesses have a duty to support employees and protect their health - Epassi UK believes one of the most effective ways to do this is through good quality employee benefits delivered through accessible technology platforms.

Over half (55%) of employees say that their current benefits package is inadequate. A similar number (56%) believe that the quality of their benefits package has an impact on their morale at work and just fifth (18%) say their employer regularly communicates with them about their benefits package – indicating significant room for improved packages and value for money.

Epassi UK’s rebrand follows its acquisition of employee benefits technology provider, Zest in June 2025. The acquisition marked a significant step in the wider Epassi Group’s continued expansion across Europe, supporting its vision to be the leading European tech platform for the employee benefits and engagement ecosystem.

As part of the acquisition, Matt Russell, CEO at Zest was also appointed as CEO of Epassi UK. Today he leads the company, with the support of Liliana Teixeira, Marketing Director, offering customers an even more compelling service through each brand.

Matt Russell, CEO at Epassi UK commented: “Good quality benefits packages can be transformative for employees and businesses alike. Not only do wellbeing benefits need to be accessible, much like modern ways of working, they must also be flexible – increasing engagement, promoting uptake and ensuring healthy habits stick. Epassi UK is supporting employers to help make this a reality – boosting the health of workers and businesses across the UK.”

Liliana Teixeira, Marketing Director at Epassi UK commented: “While we wanted to capture a fresh forward-looking offering to support the future of employee benefits, it’s been equally important to retain the Epassi brand’s heritage in delivering excellent wellbeing benefits over the past 23 years. Today marks an ongoing commitment to creating a fitter, happier and more productive workforce.”

Tonight, Epassi UK colleagues and stakeholders will celebrate the official brand relaunch this evening at Tower Bridge. The event will bring together major employers and benefit providers including Deloitte, Bloomberg, BT, Taylor Wimpey, Wickes and Octopus Group among others.
