Speaking about the upcoming events, Bev White, Managing Director of Penna Career Services said: “We are seeing significant evidence that in the recovering economy people looking for to develop their careers and now expect their development to be a priority for senior management and HR Directors within their organisation. However there are challenges for those HR professionals in ensuring the success of career development programmes. For example our recent research of employers and employees aged between 18-34 found that there is a mismatch between what employers think their team members want from their careers in the long term, and what is actually most important to them. We have launched our very first Careers Week to highlight challenges like this, whilst providing HR professionals with tools and insight which can help to tackle them.”
