A La Carte Recruitment celebrates national temporary workers week

Itís National Temporary Workers Week from 5-9 June 2006 and leading Leicester employment agency A La Carte Recruitment will be celebrating in style.

Organised by trade body the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, National Temporary Workers Week involves recruitment agencies around the country taking part in festivities, as a way of recognising the contribution made by 1.5 million temporary workers who go out on assignment each week in the UK.

At A La Carte they will be celebrating with food from around the world being offered to visitors throughout the week. The Black Thunders will also be visiting the Granby Street offices at lunchtime on Friday, where the Leicester Sound team will be giving away raffle tickets to win an iPod.

Director Erik Vitols comments: ëEveryone who works for us in June will also be receiving free competition scratchcards, with the opportunity to win over 400 prizes. The winner of our Temporary Worker of the Year Award will be announced during the week and the lucky winner will receive 100 and champagne to celebrate.

He continues: íTemporary workers are vitally important to the success of the UK economy. At peak periods we supply more than 1500 temporary workers each week to local businesses. We look after our temporary workforce because they are our ambassadors and the lifeblood of our businessí.
