A new programme of action to tackle skills shortages in London, initially in the NHS and the construction industry, and help more Londoners into work.
The new programme, called the Framework for Regional Employment and Skills Action, will also help address basic skills problems amongst London's workforce and ensure that the provision of education and skills better serve

FRESA has been devised by the London Skills Commission, which is jointly chaired by the London Development Agency and the Learning Skills Councils.
The London Skills Commission is made up of a wide group of bodies including representatives from business, the voluntary sector, Jobcentre plus, education and trade unions.
