Acas launches online training package

The new free Acas online learning package to help organisations with practical discipline and grievance procedures went live today on the Acas website www.acas.org.uk

Under the Employment Act 2002 organisations will need to meet a statutory minimum in their discipline and grievance procedures. Now is the ideal time to check out what is in place or set up well-thought out procedures based on good practice. The Acas package is a very good way of getting expert help in tackling this.

Acas Chief Executive John Taylor said:

A We know that many managers in smaller companies are hard pressed to find the time and resources to attend seminars or read up on legislation. This new package will allow them to learn at their own pace at a time to suit them. We hope this will result in clear, effective procedures that benefit employees and employers alike.
