Thomas International are launching a new one day Advanced Practitioners Workshop this September. Designed for qualified Thomas International practitioners, the course offers them the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Thomas'' tools and the benefits they deliver, by discussing and analysing a number of typical scenarios.
The course will focus on Training, Giving Feedback, Appraisals, TEAM Assessments and Change Management. Working in groups, candidates will be encouraged to discuss profile characteristics, analyse situations and offer resolutions and approaches to overcome any current or future issues.
Thomas have designed the course to steer away from the ''training angle''. It enables users to put into practice what they have learnt by giving them the opportunity to get involved with analysing and solving situations which arise from a PPA profile. Qualified training instructors will lead the courses and encourage involvement and open dialogue, whilst ensuring the group follows recommended guidelines.
We all know that once practitioners have completed the initial practitioners workshop they are all keen to get stuck in and start analysing people''s characteristics, comments Jan Kaye, trainer at Thomas International. The course has been purposely designed to allow these people to develop their skills in group sessions using typical scenarios. Ultimately, completion of the course will give practitioners a deeper understanding on reading profiles, analysing potential issues and situations whilst remaining objective.
