Advania UK reports record growth and expansion, increases clients fourfold

IT Service leader achieves record turnover £452 million, increases workforce, and strengthens market position

Advania UK, one of Microsoft’s leading partners in Northern Europe, has announced powerful growth and expansion as it solidifies its position as a leading force in the UK IT services market. The company achieved a record turnover of over £450 million and quadrupled its client base, while significantly expanding its workforce.

Advania's combined turnover for the new UK group was £452 million last year, 3.3x higher than reported turnover for Advania UK the previous year.

Growth in UK driven by strategic acquisitions

Advania UK has achieved record sales this year, marked by strategic market expansion by increasing offerings in the hardware and VAR space. Advania is now well positioned to be an allround trusted technology partner for clients. The landmark acquisitions of CCS Media and Servium have been pivotal in driving this success, catapulting the company's revenue run rate to over £450 million and enhancing offerings to customers.

The business has significantly enhanced its capabilities through the strategic acquisition of CCS Media. With 41 years of experience, CCS Media contributed over £273 million in revenue and bolstered offerings in infrastructure, cloud transformation, AI, and managed services. This acquisition has also strengthened partnerships with major hardware vendors, including Dell and Cisco, while introducing new relationships with HPE, Lenovo, and Logitech.

Additionally, the acquisition of Servium, a leading value-added reseller, strengthened specialised service offerings with expertise in managed services, IT procurement optimisation, and asset management, enabling tailored solutions for the mid-market segment.

Geoff Kneen, CEO of Advania UK, shared his insights on a monumental financial year for Advania UK, stating, “This year's exceptional growth is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled IT solutions and services to our clients. The strategic acquisitions of CCS Media and Servium have been pivotal in accelerating our expansion, enabling us to provide a comprehensive and robust portfolio of services. We are not just growing in size, but also in what we can deliver, proving we can be the trusted technology partner to our clients, supporting them in achieving all of their business goals. We are building a powerhouse for the future.”

Expansion numbers speak for themselves

These strategic acquisitions, combined with organic growth, have more than tripled Advania UK's revenue and quadrupled its client base to 9,500. Following the acquisitions, Advania UK also now employs over 1,500 people across more than 20 locations in the UK, significantly enhancing its ability to serve clients nationwide.

Team onboard with new AI strategy

Advania UK is not merely adopting the future of work; it's actively shaping it. As an early adopter of Microsoft Copilot, the company has integrated AI-powered assistance across its entire workforce, driving a culture of innovation and efficiency. Comprehensive employee satisfaction surveys have revealed the profound impact of this initiative, with 84% of employees adopting use of co-pilot across the business in their day-to-day activities, with self-reported average time savings of around 30-40 mins per day.

Chris O’Brien, Products and Services Director at Advania stated, “The integration of Copilot has revolutionised our daily workflows, allowing us to focus on strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional value to our clients. It’s not just a tool; it’s a game-changer.”
