APSCo CEO honoured with NSPCC Fellowship

Special fellowship commemorates 10th anniversary of FULL STOP campaign

Ann Swain, Chief Executive of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo), has accepted a fellowship from the NSPCC in recognition of her exemplarary efforts to raise awareness and sponsorship for its FULL STOP campaign.

The FULL STOP campaign reaches its 10th anniversary this year. As the most successful fundraising campaign for young people, it has raised 250 million to change the lives of children throughout the UK by protecting them from cruelty and abuse.

APSCo has raised over 1.4 million for the NSPCC ChildLine.

Ann Swain said: ìThis is a huge honour that makes me extremely proud of our industry. As a fellow of the FULL STOP campaign, I will continue my efforts to promote awareness of this cause within the recruitment profession.î

ìCorporate Social Responsibility is incredibly important for APSCo. Our annual charity ball has become on of the key fundraising events for the FULL STOP campaign during which our members have showed enormous generosity over the years.î

* APSCo was created on January 1st 2009 following a decision by the Association of Technology Staffing Companiesí (ATSCo) to broaden its membership and activities to include all staffing companies that place business professionals. The Forum of Professional Recruiters merged with APSCo on January 1st 2009.
