For the first time, the Association of Online Recruiters is to participate in the educational programme at the forthcoming Softworld HR & Payroll event (26 - 27 February 2003, ExCeL, London), hosting a session on 'Implementing an effective online recruitment strategy'.
Bill Shipton, Chairman of the Association of Online Recruiters will host the session which takes place on the second day of the event. During the session, Shipton will examine the following areas:
How quickly can investment in online recruitment return a positive result?
How can HR streamline recruitment and improve the quality of recruits?
How to measure the effectiveness of recruitment.
Online recruitment has a central role to play for firms looking for an effective way of finding staff, but many still don't know how successful it can be. The Softworld event offers an excellent opportunity to educate HR professionals about how to get the most from online recruitment.
The educational programme at Softworld will also cover topics such as selecting and implementing a system, building a business case, recent and upcoming payroll legislative changes, and integrating HR and payroll online. The programme will also feature two case study sessions looking at examples of successful systems implementation. Speakers from organisations such as PA Consulting Group and Atos KPMG Consulting will all share their expertise with visitors. Sessions are operated on a first-come, first-served basis at the show, subject to availability.
Softworld HR & Payroll also comprises an exhibition of over 75 leading vendors, such as Rebus HR, Agresso Limited, Microsoft Business Solutions, Mitrefinch Ltd, Northgate Information Solutions and Peoplesoft UK Ltd, as well as around 50 vendor seminar sessions.
