How far would you go for your boss? Bungee jump off the Severn Bridge? Swim with Great White Sharks? Eat a plate of maggots?
Capital Incentives, one of the UKís leading motivation and incentive specialists, is launching its third annual motivation survey online at www.capital-incentives.co.uk to find out just how motivated the average UK employee is and what they would or wouldnít do for their employer.
The survey is open to all UK employees from any industry and everyone who completes the survey from October 2002 will be entered into the prize draw to win an exciting experience activity. One will be given away every month for three months.
The first motivation survey in 2000 concluded that the majority of UK employeesí greatest motivation was to be treated fairly, rather than have good pay or job security. In 2001 the survey found that the UKís ideal boss was Richard Branson.
ìThis yearís survey is focusing on who are inspirational figures today, in terms of famous faces and personal role models,î said Graham Povey, Managing Director of Capital Incentives. ìWe also want to address the subject of what people would do for their boss and what is effective for motivating them at work.î
ìThe survey is becoming an important tool for employers to find out what really motivates their staff,î continued Povey ìAnd as an annual survey it is valuable for providing a study of trends in employee attitudes.î
Could your boss inspire you to walk over hot coals?
