Euro RSCG Riley welcomes key personnel in digital strategy and project management

Following a number of key strategic changes within the last year, Euro RSCG Riley continues to invest in its knowledge, expertise and technological resources to deliver school leaver, graduate and other High Potential Candidate solutions to its growing portfolio of blue chip organisations. A number of key moves and hires reinforce the companyís commitment to this fast moving marketplace.

Ken Kane ñ Managing Director, London

Euro RSCG Riley has appointed Ken Kane, who until recently has been the companyís group business development and marketing director, as managing director in its London agency. The position was recently vacated by Martin Cerullo, who relinquished his regional responsibilities to commit himself to running a spin-off digital HR solutions consultancy, Euro RSCG Engage. Both Martin and Ken remain on the Euro RSCG Riley board of directors.

Ken will report to chief executive, Rupert Grose, and will be responsible for all client services decisions and play a strategic role on key clients, as well as drive growth and efficiency across the company.

Previous to joining the company in 2003, Ken was a founding director of jklm, an HR communications agency later acquired by Euro RSCG Riley. Kenís extensive experience in both the account management and business development aspects of recruitment marketing will support the companyís daily client work, expanding graduate recruitment programme, and ever-growing digital offering.

Ben Hartfield ñ Head of project management

Based in London, Ben has a national remit to help clients define the strategy and delivery of their global graduate recruitment projects. He will be a key client contact and instrumental in all aspects of the creative and budgetary process of projects from conception to completion and will concentrate on delivery of graduate and complex projects for some of the agencyís largest clients.

Ben joins Euro RSCG Riley from his most recent role as a senior project manager within the design for communications team at TMP Worldwide.

Drew Spencer ñ Head of digital strategy

Euro RSCG Riley has also announced the appointment of Drew Spencer as head of digital strategy. Drew, who has extensive digital experience in the recruitment advertising industry, is an e-recruitment specialist and has led major projects for companies including: The Boeing Company, Starbucks Coffee Company, UCLA Healthcare, Expedia and Nordstrom.

Joining Euro RSCG Riley from a career in the US market, Drew most recently led a creative and strategic interactive development team as digital solutions consultant for JWT Specialized Communications.

Drew will apply this specialist knowledge to his new role at Euro RSCG Riley, where he is charged with working with the agencyís current client base to optimise use of the internet and other new media in all aspects of the attraction and recruitment process. Drew will also work with the agencyís digital development team to build strategic solutions for the leading issues affecting the internet recruitment marketplace based on specific client needs.

Helina Asefa ñ Head of Account Planning

An MBA graduate of Cambridge University, with a BA in Industrial Solutions, Helinaís background is in brand planning and positioning studies, both in consumer and b2b markets, bringing agency experience from BPRI and commercial experience from Procter & Gamble, Campbellís and Boehringer Ingelheim. Helinaís team will front the discovery phase of the account, using innovative thinking and research tools to unearth key insights and reactions to the clientsí employer brand and employee value proposition. Her background is particularly well suited to working within the graduate recruitment marketplace and offers clients a unique insight in understanding their target audience prior to developing any campaign.
