eMarketer reports that the number of Internet users in India is forecast to reach 50 million by 2004.
This forecast comes from the National Association of Software and Services Company (NASSCOM).
Nasscom says that there will be 7.7 million Internet subscribers in India in 2004, up from about 1.5 million at the end of this fiscal year, and from 1.1 million at the end of March last year.
