The Switzerland based site has posted ''currently not available'' on its site Fincareer.com. Sources close to Fincareer said it had recently been trying to raise venture capital funding.
The CEO and founder Vincent Domine was not available for comment.
The site operated in financial market recruitment specialising in senior financial executives in the UK, Europe and worldwide. The sector has been hit over the past months by the downturn in financial recruitment.
