Private Equity Recruitment Ltd, PER, is a specialist, independent recruitment consultancy working exclusively in the private equity and venture capital sector. The company was set up to meet the demanding recruitment requirements of private equity and venture capital sector clients.

Gail McManus, Director of PER, had very specific requirements for the company website.

ìPER operates in a very competitive market, and we have to compete for the attention of both candidates and clients. We needed, therefore, a website that would reflect the quality of service that we aim to provide in person and usefully help us to select the right candidates for each of our assignmentsî McManus explained.

In practical terms, this meant more than the traditional ìcandidate formî implemented by many search firms. McManus wanted her candidates to have the option to consider a number of the positions thaton her team are currently working on. In addition, she wanted her consultants to be able to gain information on the candidatesí aspirations and ambitions as well as skills so that they could match the candidates with the roles as closely as possible. McManus also knew that many of the candidates would return to the site over and over again so they needed to make it simple and quick for them to re apply once they had already registered with PER.

Finally, as a research driven firm, it was vital that the PER Research team had the option to validate incoming data before adding it to the database.

McManus selected the FILEFINDER suite of web tools to implement the software, and the team at Dillistone Systems worked closely with the PER Web Designers to develop a site that met all of her needs. The resulting website: www.perecruit.com offers all of this functionality and more, and puts PER at the forefront of technology use within the UK Private Equity Search Sector.
