4mat.com and recruitment agency Eden Brown hope to change the way candidate referrals are conducted.
The system works as a bolt-on to a companyís existing recruitment web site and enables an organisation to create and control its entire referral program via the web. The company can allow any registered candidate to become a ìreferrerî and recommend candidates for other roles. The system tracks the application of all applicants and can trace a successful placement back to the referrer who put the candidateís name forward.
Director of Eden Brown Ian Wolter said ìA candidate referral scheme will work if you give rewards to people who recommend successful candidates. The normal problem is the huge admin burden. We wanted something that not only removed this burden but extended the scope of our referral scheme to the Internet.î
Director of 4mat.com James Saunders added With 20-30% of all roles filled via the referrals and the huge use of the Internet for recruitment we recognised the need for a system that could run and control an online referral program as well as manage traditional offline referrals. In partnership with Eden Brown weíve successfully delivered just such a system.î
The system also provides each referrer with a dedicated web area to track their referrals and each candidate with a dedicated web area to track their progress through the recruitment process.
Eden Brown are piloting the system now and 4mat start rolling the service this month.
