IrishJobs Group Acquires Jobs.ie

IrishJobs.ie today announced that the company has acquired Jobs.ie

IrishJobs.ie today announced that the company has acquired Jobs.ie (aka. Nixers.com) for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition of Jobs.ie further expands and reinforces the Groupís leadership position in the growing online recruitment market. Over the past five years Jobs.ie has successfully carved out a leadership position predominantly in the lucrative ësingle job postingí market, with particular success in the Hotel, Catering and Leisure sectors.

Maria Mahon, Group CEO, IrishJobs.ie, commented: ìIrishJobs.ie is the number one player in the online recruitment market. The purchase of Jobs.ie provides significant synergies for the Group. The group, through Jobs.ie, is now entering the ësingle job advertisingí market, extending our overall reach within the recruitment advertising industry.

Jobs.ie has enjoyed phenomenal growth in this sector and will continue to run as a separate operation. Because of the complementary nature of our businesses, Jobs.ie will continue to predominantly service the single job advertising area while IrishJobs.ie will continue to focus on long term relationships with recruitment advertising clients in Ireland.î

She continued: ìThe acquisition gives the IrishJobs.ie group an even broader platform for growth whilst consolidating our No1 position. The group now employs over 90 people.î

Jobs.ie has grown strongly in the past three years and is set for over 100% revenue growth this year. As part of the IrishJobs.ie Group, we now have the resources required to drive the existing Jobs.ie business model forward at an accelerated pace.î
