The inventors of the iProfile, TheSkillsMarket, are holding an IT strategy briefing in London on Tuesday 10th September and are expecting more than 40 IT directors and managers from the leading IT recruitment companies to attend.
IT strategy is becoming of increasing importance to recruitment companies and as the recent economic downturn has proven, getting it wrong can mean the downfall of a company. Key to developing an IT strategy is understanding the changing landscape of recruitment businesses and this briefing will provide an insight into the different strategies recruitment companies are adopting as well as the impact future technologies are likely to have on these.
Speakers include:
Ann Swain, CEO of ATSCo, who will discuss the role of IT within companies and the growing importance of having a clear IT strategy.
Robert Reilly, an independent IT consultant to the recruitment industry and former IT director of Modis International, who will discuss the strategic options available to them and share his vision of how agenciesí IT systems will evolve in the next three years.
Andrew Thomas, Group MD of Haymarket Consulting, who will demonstrate how through the implementation of the iProfile solution he has changed the way he manages candidate information and as a result has cut his costs and improved his consultantsí productivity.
The briefing will be held at the Radisson Edwardian Grafton Hotel in London and will run from 4pm to 6pm. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for people to meet for drinks at the hotel bar.
