La Quinta Solves Recruitment Headaches With Hcareers

La Quinta Corporation, the leading operator of mid-sized hotels, has selected Hcareers to boost its recruitment drive.

The joint initiative means that job vacancies at La Quinta will be simultaneously advertised on the company''s corporate careers Web site, as well as Hcareers'' job board. Hcareers, the dominant job board for the hospitality industry, attracts more than 2.3 million hospitality-specific visits per month, providing clients with the largest reach to qualified job seeker candidates.

Prior to working with Hcareers, La Quinta relied on local newspaper ads, national advertising services and industry referrals. Three-fourths of the hotel operator''s field job vacancies are now filled by Hcareers. These positions include general managers, assistant general managers and sales representatives. Hcareers was selected because of its hospitality-specific and localized job listings, which allow La Quinta to post jobs by region of the U.S., by state or by metropolitan area.

We no longer spend hours trying to weed out the best candidates, and posting jobs online is much cheaper than placing an ad in the local newspaper.
