Launch of 13 specialist sites - 11/2000

'Direct, industry focused recruitment' is the way forward, says market leader.

The UK's fastest growing recruitment company, Glasgow-based Search, have launched the first of 13 specialist industry-focused recruitment sites that will, the company believes, transform the recruitment market.

The sites will be rolled out in Scotland over a six week period with the first to come online being call centres (www.searchcallcentre.co.uk), accountancy (www.searchaccountancy.co.uk) and IT (www.searchit.co.uk). They will be followed by technical, law, sales, marketing, office services, manufacturing and www.searchexecutive.co.uk, which specialises in jobs paying 50k plus, of which the company estimates there are at least 5,000 in Scotland alone.

The industry-specific sites will also be supplemented by Search's main site - www.search.co.uk - which will act as the main 'portal' site for all Search client vacancies and provide links to the specialist sites.
