Manpower relaunches recruitment website

Bricks and clicks revamp

Manpower, the recruitment and outsourcing company, has relaunched its recruitment website with new content, design and structure, specifically designed to be easier to use.

The new-look website, www.manpower.co.uk, will be simpler to navigate and will be a gateway for Manpower services to both jobseekers and employers. Manpower aims to attract more candidates and employers to the website and give them an indication of what the company can offer them. There are currently over 75,000 registered users on the website

Candidates can search through hundreds of vacancies, submit their CV details and read first-rate Career Advice, all at the click of a button. Applicants can search for jobs in a number of industry sectors, from accounting and government to HR and insurance. Some of the UKs leading companies and organisations recruit through Manpower, including BT, IBM, Xerox, Boots, Unilever and hundreds of smaller local firms.

Simon Harper, Manpower''s E-Marketing executive said: We''re excited about the improvements to the website. It is now much more user-friendly and people will find it quicker to navigate. We hope that the new website will give people an overview of the services Manpower has on offer and encourage them to get in contact with the branches. We''re much more than just a jobs vacancy website - Manpower provides ongoing face-to-face support and advice to jobseekers. We also provide news and up to the minute information on the job market, employment trends and issues affecting jobseekers and employers.

Manpower''s other leading Internet services include a large stake in GoJobsite, the UKs longest established and market leading multi-sector electronic recruitment channel. Manpower also operates a web-training university, ''The Global Learning Centre''. It offers all Manpower staff free access to over 2,600 training courses, in subjects as diverse as leadership, communication and customer service, as well as a wide range of IT skills.
