MrTed Participates in Second Direct Resourcing Think Tank Event

MrTed today announced their participation in the second Direct Resourcing Think Tank event, which will bring together dedicated HR Professionals to discuss high level recruitment topics and initiatives in the UK marketplace

MrTed, the leading global provider of Talent Acquisition Solutions, today announced their participation in the second Direct Resourcing Think Tank event, which will bring together dedicated HR Professionals to discuss high level recruitment topics and initiatives in the UK marketplace.

The upcoming Direct Resourcing Think Tank event ìThe Game Plan for Recruitment in 2009î will take place this Friday 6th February, 2009 in London. The event will be attended by senior HR professionals, as well as HR vendors including MrTed, CareerBuilder, Oasis Search and Effectivate.

The event is the second in a series, following on from the success of the first event held in December 2008, ìDirect Resourcing in an Economic Crisisî. The past event identified that companies were still recruiting but that that their hiring strategies had changed to adapt to the crisis. Many topics were discussed over the course of the morning and their main recruitment challenges were identified as; the reduction in recruitment budgets, the internal recruitment infrastructure, finding and keeping the right candidate, company branding and the need for technology.

ìThe ability to discuss and compare direct recruitment solutions in an open environment at the DRTT with fellow professionals experiencing similar challenges was priceless. Whilst each of us had issues particular to our own companies, there were a number of common ones, and the thought provoking ideas that were promoted to meet these certainly support the notion that this forum could be a more regular exerciseî, said David Mason, International Talent Acquisition Director, CH2M Hill.

The Direct Resourcing Think Tank has several more events planned over the course of the year. Information and feedback from the Direct Resourcing Think Tank will be made available in February 2009 from MrTed at:
