online disability groups, including the Disabled Rights Commission, can build a network community to help disabled individuals who are seeking employment or looking to further their career.

www.jobability.com the partnership between totaljobs.com, Leonard Cheshire Foundation and Microsoft, advertises a wide range of jobs posted by employers who guarantee to interview any disabled person that applies and
fulfils job specification requirements. Through the alliance programme, links to Jobability.com will be placed on a number of websites dealing with a wide variety of issues pertinent to the disabled community. These include
the website for Disabled Rights Commission, qww.disability.uk,
www.youreable.com, www.readywilling&able.com, www.disabledGO.com and
www.employmentopportunities.

In addition to raising awareness of jobability.com amongst disabled jobseekers, the programme offers increased user traffic to the alliance partners website. For example, DisabledGO will be complementing the partnership with a service to enable people who are job seeking to check out
access to the facilities in the surrounding area and decide whether they would like to work there.

John Cassidy, Head of PR Alliances for totaljobs.com & jobability.comcommented: As we approach the European Year for People with Disabilities, we will be working closely with employers in order to help them fully understand the implications of the Disability Discrimination Act?) of 1998.
To compliment this, we will continue to liaise closely with the job seeker to help try and restore their confidence in their own individual skills,
negativity still exists in both the recruiter and job seeker camps.

Gregory Burke, founder of DisabledGO said: Jobability is a great site offering a way for disabled people to connect with companies who value diversity and realise the potential of disabled employees. Offering our users access to these jobs through an alliance with jobability helps us
achieve our aim of delivering information to help disabled people get the most out of life.
