2008 nursing jobs success story, www.nurses.co.uk, is aiming to offer over 3,000 jobs for the busy January recruitment month, while the longer term goal for the site is to provide 5,000 jobs by mid 2009.
During 2008 the site went through an ambition growth period. Along the way, they welcomed jobs from some of the UK nursing industryís largest agencies and recruiting companies: Spire, Hays Healthcare, Medacs and HCL among others.
Company director, Matt Farrah, says he believes he has the right mix to find success: ìItís a sector with some excellent job boards, certainly,î he said. ìBut I really think we have the experience and knowledge to provide a satisfying and quality response to all in our growing customer base. And we have a great team here.î
Matt added that, ìthe feedback from clients so far has been very encouraging with many reporting good quality applicants and successful placements.î
Nursing is an industry that looks set to continue growing during the coming 12 months, so competition for quality candidates is high. ìWe understand this isnít going to be easy, but with the right attitude we hope to become one of the leaders in the field. If 2009 is as good for us as 2008 has been then weíll be on target to achieve our aim for 2010: to be one of the top job boards in the sector.î
