Online intelligence service
gives recruiters competitive edge

launched by Agile Intelligence
A new web-based intelligence and analysis service for the recruitment industry has been launched by Agile Intelligence to provide cutting-edge business information, sector commentary and market analysis.

Focused initially on the office and light industrial recruitment sectors, agile online offers senior management a one-stop shop for the latest industry intelligence and analysis. Market overviews, news commentary, economic and sector analysis as well as company profiles and a summary comparing financial performances are all contained, and regularly updated, on the site.

The agile online service is the only website to date that offers in-depth analysis of such a wide-range of information relevant to the recruitment industry. The site, which includes reports and analysis on all major and general recruitment organisations together with a large number of smaller companies, has been developed by investment analyst, Sue Dodd, and business consultant, Dr. Paul Dawson.

Sue Dodd worked as an investment professional in the City for 12 years, culminating in a significant spell as a senior analyst at Merrill Lynch. It was during recent consultancy work that she identified a need for a cohesive, quickly disseminated intelligence service providing an accessible and accurate analysis of the recruitment industry.

ìTraditionally the industry has had no choice but to rely upon half-baked research and haphazard data or alternatively paying large sums of money for an analyst to provide information that quickly becomes outdated. This is no longer viable in the current economic climate,î said Sue Dodd, director at Agile Intelligence.

ìThe past year has proved to be one of the most turbulent in the recruitment industryís history and 2003 promises to be just as challenging. Regardless of changes in the business environment, sense must still be construed of the market, rational commercial decisions made and stakeholder value advanced. Agile online supports this need.

ìNot only is agile online an invaluable source of information, but our substantial investment in analysis adds considerable value giving recruiters a wealth of knowledge at their finger tips in a format that can be easily understood - saving time, effort and money,î confirmed Sue Dodd. ìIt will also provide for more focused management as key decision makers will be fully informed about developments and trends in their sector, enabling quicker and better decision-making capabilities.

ìIn my experience, those companies with access to up-to-the-minute accurate intelligence, and the ability to apply it, have an enviable head-start over their peers.î
