Oxford Global Resources, the international recruiting and consultancy firm, has become a member of the Association of Technology Staffing Companies (ATSCo).
Comments Ann Swain, Chief Executive of ATSCo: In these difficult markets ATSCo membership is a very useful seal of quality for staffing agencies looking for new instructions. Our members are looking for added value and ATSCo's reputation for best practice means clients regularly consult with us when drawing up preferred supplier lists.
Oxford Global Resources was founded in Beverly, Massachusetts in 1984 and has since expanded to over 25 offices world-wide with an annual turnover of $150m. It specialises in recruiting technically-skilled consultants in the high-end niche of four select technical disciplines - information technology, software & hardware engineering, mechanical & electrical engineering, and telecommunications. Their managed projects and strategic outsourcing division, Oxford Global Technologies, was formed in 1998. Oxford's client base includes Exxon, Microsoft, Compaq/HP, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Xerox and Honeywell.
Commenting on their reasons for joining ATSCo, Oxford's Regina Tucci, said: For a multinational company like
Oxford Global Resources ATSCo offers us enhanced UK market presence and invaluable information about the legislative changes that are shaping the industry. In addition to being informed and prepared, we hope to assist ATSCo in lobbying activities that have already proved hugely influential on the decision-making process here and in Europe.
She adds; We have found ATSCo's range of industry forums and networking opportunities essential to our growth and knowledge of the UK market.
