Preferred International took the decision to launch a Dutch language recruitment site following the combined influence of four factors:

Formation of Preferred International B.V. The new site coincides with the company formalising its Dutch operations with the launch of the BV, having officially opened an office in Amsterdam early 2002. Although the company has provided services throughout Europe for over three years, the Dutch office has quickly developed its client base, working with companies such as Blast Radius, Elsevier Science, Tridion and Irdeto Access.

IT Recruitment and Employment Seminar. Preferred International has assembled a range of industry experts to facilitate an IT employment, recruitment and management seminar, which will be held on the 8 May at the Crowne Plaza, Hoofdoorp.

The Success of the English Site. The English version of the site was developed and launched across Europe in January this year to accommodate the companyís continuing additions to the service portfolio and in line with its pan-European orientation. Preferred International is delighted with the feedback and results they have received, especially the benefits to clients and candidates.

Internet Penetration in the Netherlands. Recent statistics from Nelson/NetRatings statistics indicates that internet penetration in Netherlands is the highest in Western Europe, with 57.5% of the population reported as active internet users (compared to 50.8% in the UK).
