Qikker Solutions limited appoints Richard Fripp

Qikker Solutions Limited, has announced the appointment of Dr Richard Fripp. As technical manager Fripp will be responsible for operations and service delivery, software product development and support, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner programmes and technical infrastructure at Qikker, whose clients include Highways Agency and Telenor Business Solutions.

Commenting on his new position, Fripp said: Qikker represents a great opportunity for me to help accelerate Qikker's aim to be a leader in the emerging e-HR/human capital arena. The Qikker business concept is brilliant, that's what got me excited about the possibilities. Anyone who has worked on either the supply side to blue chip companies or within a corporate environment, can recognise the enormous benefits of the simple application of sophisticated technology that Qikker products and services offer. From recruitment, contingency workforce resourcing, performance management - Qikker has an extensible technological base in place to bring together all these applications. That makes us pretty unique.

The technical product management side is a natural fit with my experience in service delivery. Qikker is already at the leading edge in the use of web-technology. I want to help establish Qikker as a premier technology provider of e-HR solutions.

Primarily Fripp will be anchoring the technical direction of the company and ensuring the technical integrity of Qikker products and services. He will have a customer facing role in running product management to deliver the right product to corporate users and partners. The appointment will require him to promote Qikker's technological leadership in the e-HR market space.

Fripp's product experience is being used to develop the OEM channel business, and establish technology partnerships to drive Qikker's best of breed product strategy.

The role also includes operational responsibility for technical service delivery. This covers pre-sales consultancy support, bid preparation, feasibility, through to project implementation, customer training and customer support.

Fripp will straddle product development, customer service delivery and manage the internal interfaces with these technical functions and the sales and marketing team .

Prior to his appointment at Qikker Solutions Ltd, Fripp held senior operational management positions in technical consultancy and software product businesses serving blue chip clients across the oil and gas, manufacturing, and utilities sectors. Fripp's last employer was Cogsys Ltd where he worked as the General Manager delivering high value turnkey projects for deployment of mission critical software applications and technical software solutions.

Qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering degree and PhD in Control Systems Engineering from the University of Salford. Richard is also a member of the Institute of Directors and a Member of the Institute of Measurement & Control.
