Quantiv gets the job

IT recruitment and consultancy firm Lorien launches web services using Quantiv

Quantiv Ltd., provider of enterprise-class business applications, today announced a contract with Lorien, enabling the IT resourcing and consulting services firm to offer new web services to its wide range of clients. The Quantiv system will be used to boost Lorien''s extensive range of services, which include recruitment, IT services, market research, training and design consultancy.

Lorien will deploy Quantiv''s Business Engine framework application at the heart of its IT system. The application will ultimately integrate all major business processes, including human resources, financial reporting, CRM, job and timesheet management.

Using the Quantiv system, which works on the Microsoft .NET platform, Lorien will be able to provide clients, contractors and staff with web services that give them access to the information they need anywhere, at any time, over a secure internet connection or Virtual Private Network (VPN). The system will enable Lorien''s clients to access records on temporary and permanent staff, track timesheet and job management activities, and monitor financial details.

For blue-chip clients, which employee a large number of temporary IT staff, the service will provide significant cost savings - allowing them to automate invoicing and billing systems, check employee resource levels and ensure that staffing levels are in-line with company needs.

Geoff Gudgion, Chief Executive, Quantiv, said: We are delighted to be working with Lorien to help them create robust applications that support their specific business needs. Applications that can adapt to new requirements in this fast moving market.
