RSA appoints Leader for its US business

North American office relocates to New York reflecting RSA’s strong global profile

RSA, the leading global Life Sciences Executive Search and Board Advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth McCabe as Head of RSA North America. In her new role, Elizabeth will be leading the expansion of the firms’ North American capabilities. RSA has also relocated its US head offices to New York City, which is a natural evolution for a strong international business. Currently RSA has major offices in London, Frankfurt, Basel, Singapore and New York.

Prior to joining RSA, Elizabeth started Artis BioMedica, a boutique search firm focused in the Life Sciences where she conducted searches for companies in the biopharma, specialty pharma and diagnostics sectors. With over 15 years of senior-level executive search experience, she has conducted  senior-level assignments  in Research & Development, Business Development and Sales & Marketing functions for early stage as well as established global companies and venture capital firms in the US and Europe.

Elizabeth also served as the Recruiting Partner for Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, a leading Life Sciences focused venture capital firm with $2.5 B under management. In this role, she was responsible for developing strategic relationships with C-Level executives across all sectors of the healthcare industry; and advising portfolio companies on recruiting senior executives, board members and advisors.

“Elizabeth brings exceptional domain understanding and recruitment expertise across Life Sciences sectors, including the financing and VC sector,” says Chris Molloy, CEO of RSA.  “RSA is about ‘Better People’; Elizabeth reflects that ethos and the international working style of the firm. We are excited to have her driving our ongoing US expansion.”

Elizabeth McCabe commented: “I am thrilled be joining RSA, a truly global boutique Executive Search firm. Throughout my career, I have conducted global searches in pursuit of the best talent.  RSA’s strong track record in Europe and Asia provides an ideal platform that we can leverage to better serve clients.”

Commenting on RSA America’s relocation to New York City, Nick Stephens, Executive Chairman of RSA says, “The US is an engine room for the Life Sciences, yet many US firms find it hard to access international talent for their national and international expansion. We are a Knowledge, Networks and Services business. This move adds to each of those elements and therefore serves our national and international clients.”

“Unlike many firms in our sector we work as one, global firm. We believe in close local client relationships which then access our global project teams, to ensure we get the best job done for our clients, wherever they are or want to be,” concludes Chris Molloy.
