Search Consultancy Receives Two-star rating in Best Companies Accreditation Guide 2008

Search Consultancy has received a two-star rating in the Best Companies accreditation 2008 guide

Search Consultancy has received a two-star rating in the Best Companies accreditation 2008 guide.

It is a rare achievement for a new entrant to receive two star status in the scheme which recognises best firms with the highest levels of employee engagement.

Graham Caswell, chief executive of Search Consultancy, said: ìWe are delighted to have been recognised in the Best Companies accreditation guide as we are committed to being an excellent employer.

ìRecruitment is all about people and that means looking after our staff as much as we look after our customers. I am delighted our employees are happy with how the company engages with them and have given us this vote of confidence.î

Best Companies is a firm which aims to encourage development of a better understanding between staff and employers. It established the accreditation and best companies to work for guide six years ago to measure levels of workplace engagement based on feedback from more than 400,000 employees in thousands of organisations. Companies can achieve up to three stars and a table of the top 100 firms is published on an annual basis in the Sunday Times.

The guide is also marketed to recruitment centres such as universities, libraries and careers offices and available to purchase.

Companies are scored on eight key factors using 16 questions to create a score which determines if a star-rating is achieved. Awards for best companies are presented in March.
