Stepstone and Peoplesoft combine forces

StepStone''s European Candidate Sourcing integrated with PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop



StepStone, has announced it has joined PeopleSoftís Software Alliance Program and will integrate with the PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop application to deliver online recruitment solutions to PeopleSoft customers in Europe. Through the partnership, PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop users will have the ability to post open positions to StepStone and StepStone partner sites across Europe, and to screen qualified applicants within the StepStone portals using state-of-the-art filtering technologies to deliver a ìshort-listî of pre-qualified candidates. Candidate information may then be automatically transferred directly into the PeopleSoft recruitment process.

Today such business processes must generally be performed manually. Recruiters reenter job vacancies into external online job boards, and import candidate details either manually or through flat-file transfers. The objective of this joint initiative is to provide smooth integration between the recruitment process itself within PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop and StepStoneís external community of candidates. The result is more efficient and effective hiring.

The partnership with StepStone enhances the PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop solution for customers in Europe. PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop specializes in managing applicants and facilitating the onboarding process. StepStone specializes in helping companies find and communicate with the best applicants, managing a ready-made community of over 700,000 candidates. The collaboration between PeopleSoft and StepStone will help businesses to identify, contact and recruit more qualified candidates in less time, at a lower cost - while dramatically reducing administrative overhead.

The StepStone for PeopleSoft eRecruit Manager Desktop solution will be available in the second quarter of 2003.
