EPCglobal has just been recognised by The Sunday Times newspaper for its efforts to provide an outstanding workplace for its 130 employees.
The engineering staffing specialist came 36th in the category for companies with up to 249 staff. The top 100 lists are published in The Sunday Times on March 2 and follow entries from almost 1,000 companies. Workplace engagement organisation ëBest Companiesí surveyed over 180,000 employee opinions for the newspaper, and carried out an evaluation of each entrantís key statistics, processes and policies.
Earlier in February 2008, EPCglobal was accredited with Two Star status by Best Companies for ìoutstanding workplace, workplace practices and leadershipî, as rated by its employees. It was one of only 117 organisations in the UK to have achieved Two Star status this year.
ìEPCglobal focuses strongly on its people, which brings very real benefits for the company and its clients. Recognition by The Sunday Times reflects our companyís deep-rooted commitment to providing a supportive and engaging working environment. Best Companies sets stringent criteria and weíre delighted to be recognised as a company leading its field,î says Russell Dalgleish, UK managing director at EPCglobal.
