The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and Babson Executive Education, consistently ranked among the world’s top executive education providers, announced today that internationally renowned business strategist, Dr. Saj-nicole Joni, will be featured at a free networking breakfast on Babson’s campus.
Dr. Joni, President & CEO of Cambridge International Group Ltd., will discuss how leaders can obtain the perspective necessary for effective decision. The event will take place at the Babson Executive Conference Center in Wellesley, Mass., on Wednesday, February 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ET.
The session is the second in HCI and Babson Executive Education’s ongoing Human Capital Leadership Series for the Greater Boston business and professional community. At the session, Dr. Joni will explore the right formula for decision making, including what it takes for leaders to stay fresh and how they can assemble a body of opinions and appropriate resources. By providing examples of the kinds of dilemmas executives face, Joni will illustrate why outside insight is an important component of the decision-making process.
Dr. Saj-nicole Joni is a leading pioneer of third opinion counsel. In her capacity as a consultant, she serves as a adviser to C-level executives, providing a multi-dimensional examination process that helps them recalibrate their strategies, better understand market influences, and improve their operations and competitive positions.
Her clients include C-level executives at Global 200 firms, including finance, technology, software, information, professional services, telecommunications, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, and media companies. She also works with CEOs of smaller, more entrepreneurial companies.
Dr. Joni, who is known in both the business and academic communities, brings more than 25 years experience to her work. She has held executive positions with Microsoft and CSC Index and currently serves on several boards. She has also served for more than 10 years on the faculties of MIT, Carnegie Mellon University, and Wellesley College.
In addition, Saj-nicole Joni is the author of The Third Opinion: How Successful Leaders Use Outside Insight to Create Superior Results, a book published by Portfolio/Penguin Putnam that is based on her many years of research and work as an executive adviser.
In today’s fast-paced business environment, leaders are called upon to make many decisions, and to make them quickly, said Allan Schweyer, HCI’s Executive Director. Saj-nicole Joni understands that tapping into outside resources stimulates business thinking and leads to more powerful decision making.
