Two Expert Recruitment Branches Merge to Form Kingdom People Manchester

This strategic move aims to enhance the provision of industrial and commercial recruitment and staffing solutions across the North West.

Kingdom People, a well-established recruitment agency, has consolidated its Kingdom People Oldham and Kingdom People Bury branches to create a new superhub: Kingdom People Manchester. This strategic move aims to enhance the provision of industrial and commercial recruitment and staffing solutions across the North West.

Scott Owen, a highly respected figure in the recruitment industry, has been appointed as Sales Director for the new Manchester branch. His leadership is expected to significantly contribute to the company's ambitious growth plans.

Mike Rogers, Chief Operating Officer of Kingdom People, welcomes the merger and Scott’s appointment: “Kingdom People Manchester is a key player in our branch network, which Alex and Scott will steer. The network now sits at five locations, with plans to increase to six or seven by the end of the year. This network, supplemented by our Managed Services division, will deliver £70m of labour solutions across the UK. With the pipeline of new customers continuing to grow, and an active M&A strategy, this will exceed £100m soon. The team in Manchester have our full support as it grows.”

Alex Thompson, Operations Director at Kingdom People, who oversees all operations, said of the merger: “Following several key strategic acquisitions across the UK, merging our two Manchester recruitment businesses was a logical step. This consolidation allows us to combine the strengths of our talented teams, share best practices, and leverage our brand more effectively across the North West.”

The merger will also enhance the agency's coverage and streamline processes, making Kingdom People Manchester more efficient in its daily operations. The agency’s longstanding customer relationships in the North West have established a strong regional presence. The merger is anticipated to positively impact staff wellbeing and morale. Alex Thompson added, “This gives our teams a robust support network, a clear structure, and the tools and technology to excel in their roles. It further reassures our clients of our scalability and capabilities across Manchester.”

Scott Owen, who also oversees sales for Kingdom People Bolton, Rotherham, and Lincolnshire, shared his enthusiasm for the merger: “Kingdom People, as a brand, is driven by experienced senior leaders aiming for rapid growth and a strong market presence. Our authenticity underpins everything we do.”

He continued, “I joined Kingdom People because I believe that through hard work and determination, we can effect meaningful change and make a significant impact. I am committed to guiding our Branch Network on a journey to excellence and delivering outstanding results.”

Looking ahead, Alex Thompson remarked, “As a unified team, we are in a stronger position to pursue growth, with significant plans in place to achieve this. In the North West recruitment market and beyond, we are eager to demonstrate why our clients continue to choose us. We don't just recruit the best talent; we retain it, ensuring our clients benefit from our focus on candidate engagement.”
