Watson Wyatt Worldwide acquires David, Conder, Enderle and Sloan

Actuarial Firm Will Merge with Watson Wyattís Chicago Office

Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a global human capital consulting firm, today announced it has acquired Davis, Conder, Enderle & Sloan (DCE&S), a Chicago-based actuarial and retirement benefits consulting firm.

Founded in 1992, DCE&S provides a full range of actuarial consulting services for corporate pension and retiree medical benefit programs. The acquisition of DCE&S will add 29 experienced retirement consultants and staff, including 17 actuaries, to Watson Wyattís existing staff in Chicago. Both firms expect a seamless transition and uninterrupted service for DCE&S clients.

All seven DCE&S principals, including three of the firmís four founders ñ David Conder, Gordon Enderle and Matt Sloan ñ will join Watson Wyatt. The fourth founder, Rowland Davis, had previously retired.
