The Wall Street Journalís CareerJournal.com, The New York Timesí NYTimes.com and The Boston Globeís BostonWorks.com have joined forces to offer recruiters and advertisers the ability to reach a broad geographic area of highly-qualified jobseekers. Advertisers can now go to any of the three websites to place recruitment ads on all three sites simultaneously.
Previously, advertisers needed to visit each website to place recruitment ads, even when an identical listing ran on all three sites. Now advertisers may use an automated online posting form to place multiple listings across the sites, allowing hiring managers to save time, eliminate paperwork and streamline processing costs with a single billing statement.
ìThe New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Boston Globe attract a complementary audience of executives, managers and professionals,î said Jyll Holzman, senior vice president of advertising sales for The New York Times. ìThis alliance enables companies to locate high-level candidates within our network of strong national and regional brands.î
ìThe reach of our combined Internet audience is unmatched by other career websites,î said Peter Newton, vice president of BostonWorks.com. ìBetween the three sites, we can provide access to the entire Northeast Corridor of professionals that are seeking new job opportunities.î
The partnership was facilitated by the sitesí mutual vendor, CareerCast, which supplies the listing technology for all three sites.
