Yahoo! HotJobs, a leader in online recruitment, is making it easier and faster for small- to medium-sized businesses to find the right candidates through its new self-service product, Yahoo! HotJobs Express Job Packs. According to a recent Yahoo! HotJobs survey of 500 recruiters, 66 percent indicated that they are interested in self-service products, while 69 percent noted that they would like to purchase job postings online. Listening closely to its customers, the company designed the Yahoo! HotJobs Express product to help recruiters post up to 99 job ads as needed throughout the year to cost-effectively manage the hiring process.
With the Yahoo! HotJobs Express Job Packs, recruiters can draft highly detailed, creatively formatted, targeted job descriptions - without worrying about the cost for each word or the length of the description, common concerns when purchasing print classified ads. Yahoo! HotJobs Express also allows recruiters to add, view and delete employment opportunities; extend job postings for an additional 30 days; and effectively manage their candidate pool online. Self-service is becoming a crucial aspect of the recruiting industry, especially for small- and medium-sized businesses who are increasingly integral to the employment market, said H. Tres Meyer, senior vice president of marketing for Yahoo! HotJobs.
According to the Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy, small firms generate 60 to 80 percent of net new jobs annually and represent more than 99.7 percent of all employers. We expect Yahoo! HotJobs Express to directly address the needs of this important sector, while saving them significant time and money.
