Comparing March '19 February ’19 Scotland, the North West and North East are the only areas to have increased. Scotland increased the most by £561, from £31,070 to £31,631.
Even London is down, albeit only by £175 to £41,346.
Wales has seen the highest decrease with its salary falling by more than £1100, making it drop from £31,108 to £29,941.
Abi Bradshaw, the marketing executive at Allthetopbananas.com said: “Wales has been a really strong performer in terms of offered salaries for the last six months. So it is surprising to see the region have such a drop. It will be interesting to see what happens for Wales and the rest of the UK after a decision on Brexit is made”.
