Overall sentiment about employment prospects is the highest in the last four quarters, with 59% feeling positive compared to 50% twelve months ago. This is not just a shift from those feeling neutral, with negative sentiment reducing by 26% over the same period.
Clicks’ Managing Director, Ben Wood, says “The Q1 results demonstrate there has been a definite strengthening in the employment market for IT workers over the last year. They also provide an indication that this market will continue to steadily strengthen during 2016. This underpins what we are seeing ourselves and hearing from employers across most sectors. Organisations are starting major transformation programs that will create solid long-term employment prospects for IT workers.”
