Last week InterQuest attended the Onrec Awards in London, where the Group’s Marketing team had been shortlisted for the ‘Best Creative Online Marketing’ category.

InterQuest’s Sales and Marketing Director Paul Sharpe and Group Marketing Manager Aida Walsh were in attendance at the awards, which hosted representatives of shortlisted organisations from around the recruitment sector. The Awards event was held at St. Paul’s Grange Hotel in London, with proceeds from the event going towards Whizz Kidz, a UK mobility charity that supports the independence of disabled children & young people through powered & manual wheelchairs and skills training.

The Onrec awards are held annually and are highly regarded within the recruitment industry. InterQuest narrowly missed out on winning the award, in what was a highly competitive shortlist.

Reflecting on the Awards, Paul Sharpe commented:

‘We were delighted to be shortlisted for the Onrec awards, and were very pleased to attend Thursday’s event. The Awards were extremely well attended, giving us a great opportunity to catch up with many of our peers within the industry.  We are of course always delighted to attend the Onrec Awards, given the great fundraising achievements they have made for a truly worthy cause – Onrec having raised over £65k for WhizzKidz over the last ten years with this event.

Though InterQuest thoroughly deserved the nomination for the Best Creative Online Marketing category, we recognized that we were in a highly competitive shortlist that included some fantastic organisations that are also achieving some great results from a marketing perspective. Our own marketing team has achieved an incredible amount over the last twelve months, so our nomination came as testament to the hard work and the success of the past year. 2014 is already shaping up to be a good year for InterQuest, with four Bestfor Awards already chalked up, alongside being shortlisted for The Recruiter awards and our Onrec nomination.’

InterQuest’s four Bestfor Recruitment Awards were announced in January, recognising the Group’s achievement in the areas of Public Sector, Technology, Financial & Banking and Recruitment. InterQuest have also been nominated for the Recruiter Awards in the category of Best I.T. Recruitment Agency which are due to be announced on May 7th.
