Gradunet has re-launched with a fresh look and a new online content management system for recruitment advertisers.
The new site allows recruiters to create, schedule, and edit their own online advertising and measure its effectiveness. Clients can search the student member database and directly advertise by email to target groups. They will also be informed of future matches as new candidates join.
Adam Bass, Gradunet's CEO, says:
Our clients are becoming more net-savvy, preferring the autonomy to manage their own online advertising.
Steve Sweet, development manager for Contact III (one of the Pertemps Group of Companies), was part of the advisory panel for the new Gradunet site. He believes that content management systems are the future of online recruitment: The Internet offers a powerful level of control. The ability to measure the number of times an advert is viewed in comparison to response rates, provides invaluable intelligence for planning and adjusting strategies.
The Gradunet site is continuing with the 'Virtual Careers Office' metaphor and now features a reception area, job centre, careers library, and members' work desks. There are also meeting rooms where students can chat online with graduate recruiters at virtual careers fairs.
Adam Bass is enthusiastic about the future:
Gradunet will soon be right at the cutting edge of graduate recruitment because of the power and flexibility our new system offers. We will continue to unveil further developments over the coming months.
Gradunet is undertaking a national marketing campaign targeting students and graduate recruiters, and is seeking to develop more strategic partnerships to compliment its existing alliances with StudentUK and TotalJobs.
