WebSideStory's StatMarket.com is reporting that Saturday ranks as the most popular day for Web surfing worldwide, while Wednesday is the least popular. For the week of January 30th to February 5th, 2000, Saturday accounted for 15.51% of all Internet traffic, while Wednesday accounted for only 13.44%, according to StatMarket.com, the industry's most accurate source of data on Internet user trends. The site publishes data gathered from more than 30 million unique daily visitors to more than 100,000 Websites worldwide using WebSideStory's HitBox audience analysis technology.
Friday ranked as the second most popular day to surf the Web with 15.36% of the week's traffic. Thursday was third with 14.37%, followed by Sunday (14.03%), Monday (13.71%), and Tuesday (13.58%).
